Is any subscription required to use G2 Design’s Capture Services?
No, G2 Design utilizes Matterport’s hosting services for you. You can book with Capture Services with G2 Design and let us manage the files on Matterport’s site.
How does the G2 Design staff capture my space?
We use a Matterport Pro2 camera, ideal for scanning spaces of any size. The camera delivers digital and print-ready 4k high-resolution images and 3D data with 99% accuracy that can be used to generate floor plans, BIM files, and other 3D-enabled add-ons which we can utilize to generate a Virtual Reality Model for you to walk through.
How do I access my models after my property is captured?
Once the scanning is completed, G2 Design upload the files to the Matterport site where the AI will fine-tune the model, and then the model is delivered to the G2 Design’s account. Customers will receive an email notification from G2 Design with a link to the digital twin of the space. You as the client will be able to use the link to see a virtual guided tour, extract high-quality images, and a virtual floor plan.
How much does it cost?
Pricing varies by the size of your space and how much time our staff requires to properly inventory and scan the space or property. Our hourly rate for scanning services are $150.00 per hour. Conversion of Matterport Files to CAD/BIM are charged at $85.00 per hour.
We can easily scan spaces up to 30,000 sq. ft. or more. Depending on the scale of the project, we pass through costs of digital files such as Standard Cloudpoint files for $49 or .e57 high resolution Cloudpoint files for $89, and require a one-time hosting fee of $30.00.
